A type of public barn focused on providing board for clients’ horses. Each barn can choose its own pricing but should offer multiple options of varying price ranges to clients.

Requirements

  1. Purchased & registered plot of land (see Property Management)
  2. Land only used for boarding (i.e. boarding barn does not breed horses, provide lessons etc.)
  3. Land includes office space (with detailed records of clients and boarded horses)
  4. Barn offers >1 pricing option with different benefits (e.g. most expensive option offers free horse training, full stablehand care, and complementary feed - least expensive option only offers stall or pasture, no added benefits)
  5. Minimum 1 stablehand per 10 horses boarded
  6. Minimum 1 arena per 10 horses boarded
  7. Minimum 1 round pen on property
  8. Land includes tack room(s) and feed room(s) with adequate storage for boarders
  9. Maximum 40 horses housed in property at one time (including owner and staff horses)
