About

A type of public barn focused on providing horse riding lessons to a variety of clients, from novices to Grand Prix level riders. These barns must hire riding instructors and advertise their services to the public.

Requirements

  1. Purchased & registered plot of land (see Property Management)
  2. Land only used for lessons (i.e. lesson barn does not provide boarding, breed horses, etc.)
  3. Land includes office space (with detailed records of riding instructors, lessons, and clients)
  4. Minimum 1 stablehand hired
  5. Minimum 1 coach per 5 students enrolled
  6. [Optional] Minimum 1 horse trainer per 5 horses
  7. Minimum 2 arenas on the property
  8. Land includes adequate wash stalls and tack rooms with enough storage for boarders
  9. [Optional] Include facilities such as trail rides and cross country courses
  10. Must include lesson horses available for lease (min. 1 - max. 10)
  11. Maximum 10 horses housed on the property (excluding guest’s horses and owner/staff horses)
